Mindfulness can be defined as the practice of being aware of your body, mind, feelings and thoughts in the present moment.
On this course we explain more about mindfulness and you will learn about mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness is a way to let go of anxieties and live more in the present moment. To train yourself to do this, we focus on things that are unchanging in the present moment. That is why often meditation is about focusing on breathing in and out.
Mindfulness isn’t about emptying the mind. So, if you are quite easily distracted, then mindfulness is truly just right for you too. You can use mindfulness to feel more grounded and calm.
This short course is for ten days. Each day you will listen to an audio which is just under ten minutes in duration. Our course companion guide will explain more about mindfulness and gives some examples of how to bring mindfulness into everyday life.
