This is ideal for you if…
..you would like to feel calmer about flying.
Does the thought of flying prompt anxiety? For many even thinking of the airport is anxiety inducing. It might be turbulence, fear of an accident, feeling trapped or just a thought that flying seems so strange or unnatural that a plane stays up in the air.
This is such a common phobia and can hold people back, stopping them from travelling for business or pleasure, seeing the world and going on vacations with friends and family.
At my London clinic I see many people for fear of flying and hypnotherapy offers a way to manage this phobia without medication or resorting to the overconsumption of alcohol. In this 30 minute hypnosis download you will gain tools to feel calmer about flying, by using the soothing power of hypnosis and mindfulness meditation.
How does hypnosis help your fear of flying?
Hypnosis (hypnotherapy) is so effective since it connects with the unconscious. Hypnosis for fear of flying aims to change thoughts and behaviours associated with flying, making it a more positive experience. Often we can easily say on a ‘rational’ level that flying is safe and no harm will occur. However phobias do no work on a ‘rational’ level. Rather they operate on a subconscious or unconscious level. Hypnosis helps the subconscious re-evaluate the thoughts and fears about flying and so regain control over this fear and feel more at ease when or if an anxious feeling arises.

Why do people have a fear of flying?
Fear of flying is sometimes a learnt fear. It can stem from childhood (perhaps if the individual’s parents showed similar fears) or may develop following a bad experience, which might be turbulence or the plane making an emergency landing.
I have seen with many clients, and even with myself, that some flying anxiety can show up when life, in general, is more stressful. When the mind is already anxious, it therefore looks out for anything that could be perceived as another potential danger. So, if you have been through a bereavement, divorce, car accident, house move, job loss or another stress or anxiety inducing experience, you may find anxiety pops up also when flying. It is really the mind’s survival instincts looking to keep you safe from any for danger. This hypnosis download can help you feel calmer.
